When & Where

Here’s what you’ll need to know about where and when to gather for the processional. If you intend to participate, be sure to RSVP so we can reserve the correct number of seats.

When

You should plan to be at the coliseum by 9:30 a.m. on the day of Convocation.

Where

The lineup area will be in the lower corridor of Beasley Coliseum.

The Cougar Lounge can be used to change into your regalia; personal belongings can be left there during the ceremony.

How to get there

From the loading tunnel at the back of the coliseum, go through the tunnel doors and then go left up the hallway to the Cougar Lounge.

From the coliseum main concourse, take the stairs down to the Cougar Lounge (there is a sign above the entrance to the stairs). The lounge lets onto the lower corridor.

About the procession

Shortly before 10:00 a.m., everyone will line up together in the lower corridor.

The procession will begin with the platform party, which will file into assigned seating on stage.

The assembled faculty and staff will follow immediately after and will be led into a section of reserved seating at the front of the arena.
