Faculty and staff invited

Convocation is a new student's official induction into academic life at WSU--and it's an opportunity for all of us to gather and welcome them to Pullman.

Join the procession

Each year, WSU Convocation begins with an academic procession in which faculty and staff march together onto the coliseum floor. It's a show of academic pride and a show of support for our students.

RSVP for the procession

A block of seats is reserved for those who participate in the processional, so it's important to let us know if you intend to join.

When and where to gather

If you can't join the processional (or would rather not), please join the audience. Our students will appreciate seeing you there.

Wear your regalia

Everyone who has a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. is eligible to wear academic regalia representing their degree and academic field. We encourage everyone to wear regalia for the procession BUT it is not required.

Faculty members may want to check with their department; some departments keep regalia for faculty use. Faculty members who do not have regalia may request regalia free of charge by July 14.
