All new and returning faculty are invited to participate in the convocation.

Regalia will be worn by those seated on the platform stage. Although optional, we encourage all faculty to wear regalia.

If you would like to wear regalia but do not own any, a set may be available through your department. You may also request regalia free of charge via the online request form below. Any regalia requested after May 5th will only be custom to your degree, not to the school from which the degree was earned.

There will be an academic procession in which faculty members and staff gather at 9:30 am and march onto the coliseum floor.

Although the majority of seating in the auditorium will be open, a block of seats will be reserved for those who participate in the procession. For this reason, it is important you let us know if you intend to participate.

At the ceremony new students and new faculty will be recognized as well as newly tenured and promoted faculty members.
